Centennial Dog Park
Centennial Dog Park in Moorhead is located at 2600 15th Ave. N. The park is free and open from dawn until dusk. It is divided into sections, one area for large dogs and one area for small dogs. The area is enclosed by a high, chain-link fence so the dogs can run off leash. Pick-up bags and trashcans are available. There are also benches, but the park has no running water.
Davy-Memorial-Riverfront parks
Davy Park, Memorial Park and Riverfront Park are all linked together in downtown Moorhead. Combined, the parks have playground equipment, biking and walking trails, restrooms, running water, cross country ski trails, shelters, picnic tables, grills, basketball courts, tennis courts and horseshoes. Gooseberry Park
Gooseberry Park in Moorhead is located at 100 22nd Ave. S. Gooseberry Park is 50 acres and has a playground, sand volley ball court, picnic shelters, picnic tables, walking and biking trails, groomed ski trails, electricity, running water, restrooms and grills. The shelters are available for rent for $75 or $40, depending on the size of the shelter.
M.B. Johnson Park
M.B. Johnson Park is located at 3601 N. 11th St. in Moorhead. The park is more than 100 acres and has groomed ski trails in the winter. The park is also used for snowmobiling and fishing access. Viking Ship Park
Viking Ship Park is located behind the Hjemkomst Center at 202 First Ave. N. in Moorhead. It hosts annual events such as the Scandinavian Hjemkomst Festival and various outdoor concerts. Woodlawn Park
Woodlawn Park is located at 400 Woodlawn Dr. in Moorhead. It has an 18-hole disc golf course. The course does not require tee times. Bring your own equipment. The park also has tennis courts, a basketball court, biking and walking trails, picnic benches, restrooms, water, electricity and a playground.
