Options for the transfer program include an associate in arts degree, an associate in science degree or an associate in fine arts degree.

The college also offers dozens of two-year degree, certificate and diploma programs to prepare students to enter the workforce immediately. Some of these programs include administrative support, business management, dental hygiene, massage therapy, nursing and web development.

For the majority of the programs, tuition per credit at M State for the 2008-2009 academic year is $140.85 per credit.

Extracurricular activities at M State include choir, various instrumental groups and drama. There are also multiple sports teams including women’s golf, volleyball, basketball and softball and men’s basketball, football, golf and baseball. The teams play on the Fergus Falls campus.
