Anderson Softball Complex
Anderson Softball Complex has eight irrigated and lit softball fields. It is located at 2400 45th St. S.W. in Fargo. The complex hosts state and national softball tournaments annually. It has restrooms and concessions.
Dike West
Dike West is open for sledding from about Dec. 1 through March 1, depending on the season’s snowfall. It is located on 300 Fourth St. S. across from the FM Community Theatre. Hours are 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturdays and noon to 8 p.m. Sundays.
Fargo dog parks
Fargo has two dog parks, Village West Dog Park at 45th St. and Ninth Ave. S. and Yunker Farm Dog Park at 12th St. and 28th Ave. N. Both parks are divided into sections for small and large dogs to exercise and socialize. Picnic tables and benches are available to the dog owners, as well as pick-up bags and garbage cans. Village West Dog Park has a picnic shelter. Both parks have drinking fountains. The dog parks are fenced in so that dogs can run off leash. Park rules are posted on the gate.
Lindenwood Park
Lindenwood Park is located at 1712 Fifth St. S. in Fargo along the Red River. It is heavily wooded, with 46 campsites available from May through mid-October with hot water, showers, restrooms and electricity. There are 12 tent sites with water, two playgrounds, picnic tables and shelters, grills and paved bike trails. Leashed pets are allowed in the park. A footbridge connects Lindenwood to Moorhead’s Gooseberry Park. For more information, call the park at 701.232.3987.
Mickelson Field
Mickelson Field is located at Ninth Avenue and Oak Street North in Fargo. It has eight softball diamonds. Two of the fields have lights. Mickelson is the location for state and national fast-pitch tournaments and Little League baseball. For more information, call 701.241.1350.
Pepsi Soccer Complex
Pepsi Soccer Complex is located at 3101 Highway 81 N. Two of the fields have lights. The community offers adult indoor or outdoor soccer leagues all year.
Tharaldson Baseball Park
Tharaldson Baseball Park is located at 2401 42nd St. S.W. in Fargo. It has four irrigated and lit fields and hosts several tournaments annually. The park has restrooms, parking and cocessions. For more information, call 701.241.1350.
